Abstract:
The thesis describes the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on English language teaching at lower-secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to compare the impact of the first full-scale lockdown caused by the virus, which had held both pupils and their teachers at home, on teaching English within the following school years experiencing the same situation.
