Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se nazývá Empatie v sociální práci. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat úlohu empatie v sociální práci a na základě této analýzy navrhnout kvantitativní výzkum v sociální práci, který bude zaměřen na sociální pracovníky. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a aplikační část, z čehož je teoretická část rozdělena na dvě kapitoly. Aplikační část bakalářské práce obsahuje jednu kapitolu. První podkapitola teoretické části bakalářské práce se věnuje vymezení pojmu empatie a jejímu historickému vývoji. Pozornost je také věnována utváření empatie a jejím fázím či koncepcím. Dále se kapitola zabývá rozvojem empatických dovedností, měřením empatie a riziky spojenými s empatií. Na závěr kapitoly jsou zmíněny pojmy, které nejsou totožné s empatií, ale mohou s ní být zaměňovány. Následující kapitola teoretické části bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na empatii v sociální práci. Je zde popsána struktura empatie v sociální práci podle Stephena H. Kinga Jr. Kapitola se také věnuje empatii u studentů sociální práce a významu empatie v praxi sociální práce. Závěr této kapitoly pojednává o empatii v literatuře sociální práce. Aplikační část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na návrh kvantitativního výzkumu, který má za cíl posoudit, jakou znalost mají sociální pracovníci o pojmu empatie a do jaké míry je sociálními pracovníky v profesní rovině projevována.

Abstract:

The name of the bachelor thesis is Empathy in social work. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the role of empathy in social work and to propose quantitative research in social work, which will be focused on social workers, based on this analysis. The work is divided into theoretical part, further divided into two chapters, and application part, containing one chapter. The first chapter of the theoretical part deals with the definition of empathy and its historical development. Attention is also paid to the formation of empathy and its stages or concepts. Moreover, the chapter deals with the development of empathic skills, measurement of empathy and the risks associated with empathy. At the end of the chapter, terms that are not identical with empathy, but can be confused with, are mentioned. The following chapter of the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis focuses on empathy in social work. The structure of empathy in social work is described according to Stephen H. King Jr. The chapter also deals with empathy of students of social work and the importance of empathy in the practice of social work. The conclusion of this chapter deals with empathy in the literature of social work. The application part of the thesis focuses on the design of quantitative research, which aims to assess what knowledge social workers have about the concepts of empathy and to what extent it is expressed by social workers at the professional level.
