Journey of death to the pop culture: visual transformation and inspiration
Abstract:
Diplomová práce hledá a zkoumá propojení mezi smrtí a popkulturou. Popkultura jako výrazný motiv současného kulturního světa i se svými povrchnímy aspekty. A smrt jako osudová lidská konečnost plná symboliky. Práce hledá částečně i historický kontext moderních tendencí a věnuje se také nejvýraznějším popkulturním kategoriím jako je film, hudba a móda.
Abstract:
Dissertation searches and investigates the connection betweenbetween death and popculture. Popculture as a significant motive of contemporary culture space with superficial aspects. And death as a fatal human finality - full of symbolism. Work searches historical context of modern tendency and it is dealing with the most significant popcultural categories as a film, music and fashion.
