Unfair Marketing Practices in Finacial Services

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku nekalých praktik ve finančních službách a zabývá se nekalou činností obchodních a finančně poradenských společností. V práci je čtenář seznámen s hospodářskou a nekalou soutěží a jejich často nemorálními praktikami. Praktická část se pak konkrétně věnuje v dnešní době aktuální tématice nekalých obchodních praktik společností poskytující finanční poradenství. Jsou analyzovány společnosti OVB Allfinanz, a. s. a Partners Financial Services, a. s.. Obě tyto společnosti se zabývají finančně poradenskými službami a u obou z nich již v minulosti byly zaznamenány znaky nekalých obchodních praktik. Cílem práce je tyto společnosti prověřit, vyhodnotit kvalitu, pravdivost a výhodnost jimi nabízených služeb a produktů. Dále vyhledat znaky klamavých praktik a následně sestavit doporučující opatření pro spotřebitele, kteří mohou mít o tyto služby v budoucnu zájem.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on unfair practices in financial services, especially there are highlighted the unfair trade practices and financial consulting. The reader becomes familiar with economic competition and unfair competiton and their often immoral, unethical practices. Practical part deals with the recent topic of unfair business practices in financial advisors companies. The thesis analyses companies OVB Allfinanz, a.s. and Partners Financial Services, a.s.. Both of these companies are known for it unfair practises from the past. The goal of the thesis is to evaluate these companies, review the quality of their services, truthfulness and profitability of the products or services which they offer to the customer. Last but not least, to seek for signs of unfair or deceptive practices and set up a list of recommended steps for the customer, which may show need for financial consulting in the future.
