The aim of my diploma thesis is to provide comprehensive information about the regulation of the mortgage market in the Czech Republic. This thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and analytical. The first large chapter characterizes the mortgage market, defines what a mortgage is and what its types are, describes the whole process of obtaining a mortgage loan.
