MBTI typology and the study of social pedagogy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na zjištění zastoupení jednotlivých typů dle typologie MBTI u studentů sociální pedagogiky. Teoretická část práce obsahuje představení typologie osobnosti MBTI, dále se zabývá osobností vysokoškolského studenta a představuje studijní obor sociální pedagogika. Ve výzkumné části bylo realizováno kvantitativní dotazníkové šetření, které zahrnuje 96 studentů sociální pedagogiky Ostravské univerzity, jiţ představují výzkumný vzorek této práce. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit jaký osobnostní typ dle typologie MBTI se nejčastěji objevuje mezi studenty sociální pedagogiky. Následně se zaměřit na nejčastěji objevující se osobnostní typ a zjistit jím preferované činnosti a hry, učební styly, preferované motivační prostředky a preferované způsoby řešení konfliktů. A dále jej srovnat s typologií Michala Čakrta o volbě povolání a profesních úspěších.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the representation of personality types by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator are appearing among students of Social Pedagogy. The theoretical part of this Bachelor Thesis includes the presentation of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, it also deals with the personality of university student and it introduces a field of study Social Pedagogy. The quantitative questionnaire investigation, which includes 96 students of social pedagogy at University of Ostrava, who represents a sample of this research, is placed in the experimental part. The aim of the research is to determine which personality type by typology MBTI is most common among students of social pedagogy. Then to focus on the most frequently occurring personality type and determine its preferred activities and games, learning styles, preferred motivational resources and preferred methods of conflict resolution. And then compare it with the typology of Michal Čakrt about the career choice and professional achievements.
