Comparisonof the effectiveness of communication methods used in children with ASD in terms of family and school facilities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o srovnání efektivity využití způsobů komunikace u dětí s autismem z pohledu rodiny a školského zařízení. Je rozdělena teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je popsán historický vývoj autismu, příčiny vzniku autismu a podrobně rozebrány jednotlivé poruchy autistického spektra. Zabývá se pojmem komunikace, narušením komunikačních schopností u dětí s autismem a věnuje se alternativní a augmentativní komunikaci. Přibližuje rodinné prostředí dítěte s PAS a principy TEACH programu. V praktické části jsou srovnány využívané způsoby komunikace u dětí s autismem z pohledu rodiny a školy. V závěru práce je shrnutí a vyhodnocení výzkumného šetření. V příloze je uveden dotazník, který byl předložen v rámci výzkumu rodičům a pedagogům.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the comparison of the effectiveness of the use of the method of communication in children with autism from the perspective of the family and school institution. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the historical development of autism, causes of autism and discusses in detailes individual disorders of autism spectrum. It deals with the concept of communication, disruption of communication skills in children with autism and is dedicated to alternative and augmentative communication. It approaches the family environment of the child with ASD and principles of TEACH program. In the practical part are compared used methods of communication in children with autism from the perspective of families and schools. The conclusion is a summary and evaluation of the research. The attachment includes a questionnaire that was submitted as part of the research for parents and teachers.
