Effect automatization and robotization on employment

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá otázkami, které vzbuzují obavy z budoucího vývoje pracovních trhů a celkové zaměstnanosti. Stěžejním tématem, o které se práce opírá, je zavádění moderních prvků do výrobních procesů, ale také do služeb. Jedná se zejména o využívání automatizačních technologií, jejichž nejdokonalejší formou jsou robotické technologie, resp. roboti samotní. Robotizace má v průmyslu i službách obrovský potenciál a s vysokou pravděpodobností bude v blízké budoucnosti transformovat pracovní trh a následně dojde k vychýlení socio-ekonomické rovnováhy. Nejpalčivějším problémem všech světových ekonomik je nezaměstnanost, která se zaváděním robotizace úzce souvisí. Pohled na celou problematiku je proveden ve třech rovinách. Ke standardní makro a mikroekonomické rovině je přidána rovina sociální, dnes poměrně často diskutované téma sociální odpovědnosti firem, tzv. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Cílem práce je zhodnotit výhody a nevýhody zavádění automatizačních technologií a robotizace ve firmách a jejich vliv na nezaměstnanost.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with issues that raise concerns about the future development of labor markets and overall employment. The main theme, which the work is based on, is the introduction of modern elements into production processes, but also services. This is especially using of automation technologies, the most perfect form of which is the robotic technology, respectively robots as such. Robotizing has enormous potential in industry and services and is likely to transform the labor market in the near future and consequently, the socio-economic equilibrium will be shifted. The most pervasive problem of all world economies is unemployment, which is closely related to the introduction of robotization. View of the whole issue is done in three planes. The standard macro and microeconomic level is added to the social level, the relatively often discussed CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) theme. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of introducing automation technologies and robotics in companies and their impact on unemployment.
