The Initiation of Regional Development through Interactions of Agents from Internal and External Environment of the Velkopavlovicko Wine Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Iniciace regionálního rozvoje prostřednictvím interakcí aktérů vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí Velkopavlovické vinařské podoblasti se zabývá unikátními interakcemi aktérů vnitřního prostředí a aktérů prostředí vnějšího, podporujících vinařství a vinohradnictví. Práce je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu provedeném metodou semi-standardizovaných rozhovorů s aktéry, určenými analýzou aktérů. Na bázi okruhů scénářů rozhovorů, vytvořených analýzou příležitostí, jsou sledovány možnosti a příležitosti regionálního rozvoje a jejich aplikace v rámci podoblasti, stejně tak jako přístupy jednotlivých aktérů k problematice a jejich originální strategie s postoji. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak fakticky přispívají jednotlivé interakce aktérů vnitřního prostředí (vinařů) a vnějšího prostředí (mikroprostředí a makroprostředí) na rozvoj zvolené podoblasti. Druhý cíl zjišťuje vlivu aktérů vnitřního prostředí, čímž zkoumá míru zainteresovanosti endogenního postoje v regionálním rozvoji oblasti. Dle předpokladu rozdílných pohledů jednotlivých aktérů a sdružení aktérů, byli rozděleni na tři skupiny. V rámci vnějšího makroprostředí bylo zkoumáno 6 aktérů, 6 aktérů rovněž pro vnější mikroprostředí. U vnitřního prostředí bylo zvoleno 11. Diplomová práce je případovou studií, analyzující konkrétní složky regionálního rozvoje iniciované jednotlivými aktéry regionu. K dotazování aktérů byly využity kvalitativní metody formou hloubkových rozhovorů s následnou komparací vzájemných pohledů. Výzkum ukázal, že konkurenceschopnost regionu, zapříčiněnou regionálním rozvojem budují aktéři vnitřního prostředí za pomoci finančních a marketingových vstupů aktérů prostředí vnějšího, v rámci mezí zákona. Jedná se o endogenní formu regionálního rozvoje založenou na diskusi o lokalitách. Míra iniciace regionálního rozvoje závisí na samotných aktérech, respektive jejich sdružení. Klíčový způsob sebepropagace zajišťuje organizace vinařských akcí v průběhu celého kalendářního roku a budování spolků VOC, což prokázalo kvalitativním kódováním získaných informací.

Abstract:

The master’s thesis titled “The initiation of regional development through the interaction of agents of the internal and external environment of the Velkopavlovicko Wine Region” focuses on the interactions of agents of the internal and external environment supporting wineries and viticulture. Is based on qualitative research by way of semi-standardized interviews with agents determined by an analysis. Furthermore, options and opportunities of regional development as well as their application are looked at in the context of individual approaches of agents and their original strategies. The aim of the thesis is to find out how individual interactions of internal environment agents (wine producers) and external micro-environment and macro-environment specifically contribute to the development of said sub-region. Second goal is to understand the impact of agents of the internal environment and study the level of interest of the endogenous stance in the regional development. Due to the anticipation of countering viewpoints of individual agents and their organizations, they were separated into three groups. In terms of the external macro-environment, 6 agents were studied as well as for the micro-environment. In the case of the internal environment, 11 were chosen. The master’s thesis is a case study analyzing the specific components of regional development initiated by individual regional actors. Qualitative methods were used for the comprehensive interviews of the agents with a subsequent comparison of the mutual views. The research showed that the region’s ability to compete is sustained by external environment actors thanks to financial and market driven activities of the external environment agents within the boundaries of the law. This is a form of endogenous regional development based on discussions about locations. The level of regional development rests on the agents and their organizations. The key method of self-promotion is procured by the organization of activities involving wine throughout the year as well as the development of VOC organizations, which assumed qualitative coding of founded information.
