Preventive advisory work of social workers in the area of home violence with the target on the protected housing´ service

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována tématu domácího násilí v kontextu preventivně poradenské činnosti sociálních pracovníků se zaměřením na službu chráněného bydlení. První část práce je zaměřena na vymezení hlavních pojmů, s nimiž je v dalších částech pracováno, a dále také na představení služby chráněného bydlení v kombinaci s osobami ohroženými domácím násilím, které je možné na území České republiky využívat coby jednu ze sociálních služeb. Ve středu zájmu tedy stojí problematika domácího násilí, na níž bude nahlíženo zejména právě optikou sociální a policejní práce. Aplikační část práce ke pak věnována analýze dokumentů, k čemuž bylo využito metody komparace za použití komparačních kritérií, a dále expertního rozhovoru s vedoucími sociálními pracovnicemi azylového domu pro matky s dětmi a vedoucí domu na půl cesty ve městě Ostrava, přičemž se soustředí právě na výše zmíněnou kombinaci domácího násilí, preventivně poradenské činnosti a chráněného bydlení a rozdíly v těchto oblastech mezi jednotlivými zařízeními a službami.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis is devoted to the topic of domestic violence in context of preventive counseling activities of social workers with a focus on sheltered housing service. The first part of the work is focused on defining the main concepts that are worked in other parts and also on the introduction of sheltered housing services in combination with people at risk of domestic violence, which can be used in the Czech republic as one of the social services. The focus in therefore on this issue of domestic violence, which will be viewed mainly from the perspective of social and police work. The application part of the work is devoted to the analysis of documents, for which the method of comparison was used using comparative criteria, as well as an expert interview with the leaders of the asylum house for mothers with children and the head of the halfway house in Ostrava, focusing on the mentioned combination of domestic violence, preventive counseling and sheltered housing and the differences in these areas between individual facilities and services.
