Foreign Investments in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje tématu zahraničních investic. Jsou zde popsány jednotlivé možnosti zahraničních společností a v některých případech jsou připsány i konkrétní příklady konkrétních společností. V práci nejsou opomíjeny i možná rizika a jakým způsobem jim čelit. Samozřejmě, že není zapomenuta i problematika plánování a realizace investičních projektů. Všechny informace jsou čerpány z odborné literatury a dostupných informačních zdrojů, jako jsou novinové výtisky a internet. To vše najdeme jako teoretickou část práce. V praktické části práce popisuje již reálné kroky, které společnosti musejí učinit, aby mohly svoji investici zrealizovat. Záměrně jsem si vybrala popis výstavby na zelené louce, které bývají obvykle spojovány s investičními pobídkami. Tato problematika je stále diskutována odbornou veřejností a mým cílem je na základě mého bádání alespoň malým dílem přispět do této diskuse. A to díky hlubšímu zkoumání problematiky.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on foreign investments. There are described various possibilities for foreign companies and in some cases it is attributed to specific example of specific companies. The work analyses potential risks and how to deal with them. Of course, the thesis deals with the problems of planning and implementation of investment projects. All information is drawn from the literature and available information sources, such as newspapers and internet. That is what the theoretical part comprehends. The practical part describes the real steps that companies must do to be able to realize their investments. I deliberately chose a description of the construction of a Greenfield site, which are usually associated with investment incentives. The issue is still debated by scientific community and my intention based on my investigations is at least to contribute to this discussion through a deeper examination of this issue.
