Revitalization of squares in settlements with a protective regime of monument reservation/zone.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem revitalizace náměstí v sídlech s ochranným režimem památkové rezervace/zóny. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První částí je literární rešerše, která pojednává o historickém vývoji měst ve střední Evropě od raného středověku až do období průmyslové revoluce. Dále je rešerše věnována vývoji měst v současnosti, památkové ochraně sídel a revitalizaci veřejných prostorů v režimu památkové péče. Součástí jsou i příklady zdařilých revitalizací ze světa i České republiky. Druhá část práce se věnuje analýzám zájmového území, kterým je Kostelní náměstí v Mikulově. Analýzy byly zpracovány především pro to, aby z nich bylo vycházeno při následující návrhové fázi práce, a aby byly opěrným bodem. Třetí část se věnuje samotnému architektonickému řešení Kostelního náměstí, jeho novému provoznímu a funkčnímu členění a znovuobnovení jeho potenciálu v historickém jádru města Mikulov.

Abstract:

This Bachelor Thesis deals with the topic of revitalization of squares in settlements with a protective regime of monument reservation/zone. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is literary research that discusses the historical development of cities in Central Europe from the early Middle Ages to the Industrial Revolution. The literary research is further dedicated the development of cities at the present time, heritage protection of settlements and revitalization of public spaces in the regime of monument care. This part also includes examples of successful revitalizations from around the world and the Czech Republic. The second part of the theses is devoted to analyzes of the area of interest, which is the Church Square in Mikulov. The analyzes were prepared primarily in order to be based on them during the following phase of the work and to be a fulcrum. The third part is devoted to the architectural solution of the Church Square, its new transport and functional division and restoration of its potential in the historical core of the Mikulov.
