Flora of the Adamov town

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku přírodních poměrů a flóru na území města Adamov o rozloze přibližně 3,6 km2. Druhou částí práce je soupis taxonů cévnatých rostli, které byly na území v minulosti zaznamenány. Stěžejní částí práce je floristická studie daného území, jejíž výsledky doplňují soupis historických nálezů. Studovaná oblast se nachází v nadmořské výšce od 240–454 m n. m., jedná se tedy o poměrně kopcovitý terén. Území spadá do geomorfologického celku Drahanská vrchovina, podloží tvoří převážně granodiorit. Z půd mají největší zastoupení kambizemě. Adamovem protéká jediný velký tok, a to řeka Svitava. Průměrná roční teplota je 8,4 °C a průměrný roční úhrn srážek 521 mm. Rekonstruovanou přirozenou vegetaci tvoří Luhy a olšiny (Alno-Padion, Alnetea glutinosae, Salicetea purpureae), Dubo-habrové háje (Carpinion betuli), Květnaté bučiny (Eu-Fagion), Subxerofilní doubravy (Potentillo-Quercetum, P.-Q. pannonicum, Lithospermo-Quercetum) a Acidofilní doubravy (Quercion robori-petraeae). Studované území spadá do fytogeografické oblasti mezofytika a okresu Moravské podhůří Vysočiny. Z prostudované literatury a dostupných databází bylo zaznamenáno 460 taxonů cévnatých rostlin. Při vlastním terénním výzkumu bylo determinováno 528 taxonů, z čehož je 337 ověřených a 191 nově nalezených. Čtyři nalezené taxony jsou zákonem chráněné podle vyhlášky č. 395/1992 Sb., 37 je vzácných či ohrožených. Celkové zastoupení původních druhů je asi 73 %. Součástí diplomové práce je didaktický materiál v podobě výukových karet s 50 rostlinnými druhy a dokladový herbář čítající 425 položek.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the characteristics of natural conditions and flora in Adamov, a city of area about 3.6 km2. The second part of the thesis is a list of taxa of vascular plants whose occurrence has been reported within this area in the past. The main part of the thesis is a floristic study whose results complement the list of historical findings. The altitude of the focused area is approximately 240–454 meters above sea level, thus, it is, relatively, a hilly terrain. The area is located in a geomorphological unit of Drahanská vrchovina, subsoil is predominantly composed of granodiorite. The most common soil is cambisema. The Svitava river is the only great water flow running through Adamov. The average annual temperature is 8.4 ° C and the average annual precipitation is 521 mm. The reconstructed natural vegetation consists of Alluvial forests (Alno-Padion, Alnetea glutinosae, Salicetea purpureae, Carpinion betuli), Flowery beech (Eu-Fagion), Subxerophilous oak wood (Potentillo-Quercetum, P.-Q. pannonicum, Lithospermo-Quercetum) and Acidophilous oak woods (Quercion robori-petraeae). The area of Adamov is a part of phytogeographical region of the mesophyticum and the Moravian foothills of the Vysočina Region. After database and literature searching, 460 taxa of vascular plants were identified. Field research itself revealed 528 taxa of which 337 was verified and 191 were discovered. Four taxa are protected by law under Decree No. 395/1992 Coll., thirty-seven are considered to be rare or endangered. The total proportion of indigenous species is about 73 %. The diploma thesis includes didactic material in the form of educational cards with 50 plant species and a herbarium of 425 items.
