Problematic communication situations and their solutions between teachers and pupils in the Czech language subject at secondary vocational schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku pedagogické komunikace mezi učiteli a žáky na středních odborných školách v Moravskoslezském kraji. Hlavním cílem výzkumu je identifikovat bariéry v této komunikaci a navrhnout řešení pro jejich překonání. Teoretická část práce definuje klíčové pojmy, jako je interpersonální a pedagogická komunikace, bariéry v komunikaci, kurikulum, komunikační situace, spisovný a nespisovný jazyk. Dále se práce zaměřuje na funkce pedagogické komunikace, oblasti komunikačních problémů v praxi, pravidla pedagogické a třídní komunikace, partnerství v komunikaci, komunikační jazyk, komunikační kanál a prevenci vzniku bariér. Empirická část práce analyzuje výskyt bariér v komunikaci mezi učiteli a žáky v předmětu Český jazyk a literatura na středních odborných školách v Moravskoslezském kraji na základě dotazníkového šetření mezi žáky. Práce dále zkoumá funkčnost pravidel komunikace, obsažených v dokumentech "Školní řád" vybraných středních škol. Výzkumnými nástroji jsou dotazník zaměřený na komunikaci ve výuce, bariéry v komunikaci a faktory jejich vzniku a kvalitativní analýza obsahu vybraných otevřených odpovědí žáků a dokumentu "Školní řád" s cílem zjistit výskyt pravidel a druhy komunikace mezi učiteli a žáky. Výzkumný vzorek tvoří studenti středních odborných škol v Moravskoslezském kraji. Výsledky práce přináší cenné informace o bariérách v komunikaci mezi učiteli a žáky a o možnostech jejich překonání. Diplomová práce nabízí možné popsané didaktické a komunikativní strategie napomáhající směrem ke zlepšení kvality výuky z hlediska efektivní pedagogické komunikace na středních odborných školách.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the issue of pedagogical communication between teachers and pupils at secondary vocational schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The main goal of the research is to identify barriers in this communication and propose solutions to overcome them. The theoretical part of the work defines key terms such as interpersonal and pedagogical communication, barriers in communication, curriculum, communication situations, literary and non-literal language. Furthermore, the work focuses on the functions of pedagogical communication, areas of communication problems in practice, rules of pedagogical and classroom communication, partnership in communication, communication language, communication channel and prevention of barriers. The empirical part of the work analyzes the occurrence of barriers in communication between teachers and pupils in the Czech language and literature subject at secondary vocational schools in the Moravian-Silesian region based on a questionnaire survey among pupils. The thesis further examines the functionality of the communication rules contained in the "School Regulations" documents of selected secondary schools. The research tools are a questionnaire focused on communication in teaching, barriers in communication and the factors of their origin, and a qualitative analysis of the content of selected open answers of pupils and the document "School rules" with the aim of finding out the occurrence of rules and types of communication between teachers and pupils. The research sample consists of students of secondary vocational schools in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The results of the work bring valuable information about barriers in communication between teachers and pupils and about the possibilities of overcoming them. The diploma thesis offers possible described didactic and communicative strategies helping to improve the quality of teaching in terms of effective pedagogical communication at secondary vocational schools.
