Personal identity and organizatinal culture

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce byla „Osobní identita a organizační kultura“. Jednalo se o analýzu firemní kultury a jejích jednotlivých prvků v Lanovém centru PROUD Brno. Výzkum firemní kultury byl proveden v souvislosti s osobní identitou cílové skupiny zaměstnanců. Cílem výzkumu bylo určit, zda zkoumaná organizace vykazuje prvky zdravé firemní kultury. Současně byla zkoumána osobní identita zaměstnanců této firmy. Důraz byl kladen na identifikaci příslušnosti k pracovnímu zařazení, které se odráží v osobní identitě. A zda se tato příslušnost projevuje v pozitivnějším hodnocení firemní kultury firmy, ve které jsou respondenti zaměstnáni. V úplném závěru práce jsou navržena možná opatření pro dosažení pozitivních změn u některých zjištěných fenoménů ve zkoumané organizaci.

Abstract:

The topic of the diploma thesis was Personal Identity and organizational culture. It was an analysis of company culture and its separate elements in Ropes Course PROUD Brno. The research of company culture was conducted in relation with personal identity of a target group of employees of the organization. The intended purpose of the research was to determine if the organization shows signs of a healthy company culture. At the same time, the personal identity of its employees was studied. Emphasis of the research was placed on the identification of employees with their position in the organization, which shows in their personal identity. Further the research concentrates on whether the identification shows in positive opinion on company culture of the organization to which the correspondends belong. The final part of the thesis provides possible interventions to achieve positive changes to some of the identified manifestations of company culture in the target oraganization.
