Angela Merkelová se stala po zářijových parlamentních volbách 2009 opět nejvýznamnější postavou německé politiky. Angela Merkel became after September's parliamentary elections in 2009 again the most important person in German politics. She managed to form black-yellow coalition with the FDP and become German Chancellor for the second time This bachelor thesis deals with the role of Angela Merkel in German foreign policy with emphasis on the Chancellor's first term.
