Perthes disease in a child with a multiple handicap

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem Perthesova choroba u dítěte se souběžným postižením více vadami se zabývá poměrně ojedinělou kombinací několika druhů postižení. Teoretická část se skládá ze dvou kapitol. V první kapitole jsou charakterizovány jednotlivé druhy postižení, jejich průběh a etiologie, možnosti léčby a podpory. Druhá kapitola objasňuje nezastupitelnou roli rodinné péče a výchovy, nastiňuje možnosti vzdělávání těžce zdravotně postiženého dítěte a poukazuje na nutnost komprehenzivní rehabilitace jako nezbytného článku komplexní péče o dítě. Popisuje též systém sociálních služeb a kategorizaci dávek státní sociální podpory pro osoby zdravotně znevýhodněné. Výzkumná část je tvořena jednou kapitolou. Popisuje na skutečném případu chlapce s Perthesovou chorobou a zároveň souběžným postižením více vadami, jak vypadá život dítěte a jeho rodiny, popisuje způsob vzdělávání a důležitost udržování sociálních kontaktů. Výzkum byl proveden kvalitativní metodou. Informace byly získány strukturovaným rozhovorem s matkou dítěte, třídní učitelkou a asistentkou pedagoga, analýzou lékařských zpráv a participačním pozorováním dítěte.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis called Perthes´ disease in a child with added disabilities of more disorders deals with relatively rare combination of a several kinds of disabilities. Theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first one describes particular kinds of disabilities, it´s progress and etiology, treatment possibilities and support. The other chapter clarifies the irreplaceable role of family care and it´s upbringing, presents education possibilities of a seriously disabled child and points to the comprehensive rehabilitation necessity as the essential part of childcare. It also describes a system of social services and categorisation of state social security bendit for the person with a health handicap. The researching part consists one chapter. It describes a concrete case of a boy suffering from the Perthes´ disease collaterally with added disabilities of more disorders, how his and his family life looks, describes the way of education and the importace of keeping social contacts. The research was made by a qualitative method. The information were gained by a structured interview with the boys mother, his form teacher and the teacher´s assistant and also by the medical reports analysis and by the participatory watching of the child.
