Creation of competency model of selected company for employees in retail distribution and its implementation to hiring process

Abstract:

Cílem práce je analyzovat klíčové kompetence zaměstnanců vybrané firmy působící ve finančním odvětví v retailové síti a v návaznosti na to vytvořit kompetenční model a provázat jej s náborovým procesem pro tyto pracovní pozice. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na pojmy kompetence, kompetenční model a především způsoby jeho tvorby a následné provázání s organizací, hodnocení jednotlivých kompetencí, stejně tak jako vhodné zvolení hodnotící stupnice a samotná implementace kompetenčního modelu. V praktické části se zaměřuji na důvody pro tvorbu kompetenčního modelu, získávání dat, analýzy a klasifikace kompetencí a samotnou tvorbu kompetenčního modelu, dle kterého je poté vytvořena náborová pomůcka pro liniové manažery v dané organizaci. Součástí práce je také validace a implementace kompetenčního modelu pro nábor v dané organizaci.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the competencies of employees in retail distribution of selected company that is operating in financial area and build competence model with usage in hiring process of this company. The theoretical part deals with the definition of competence, competence model and ways of creating the model itself. It also focuses on choosing the best way to assess the competencies and implementing the model into hiring process of the company. In the practical part of the thesis I focus on the reasons for creating the competence model for the selected company, gathering the data, analysis and classification of the competencies and creating the competence model that is later used as a standardized tool for hiring process. The thesis also describes validation and implementation of the competence model for hiring process in selected company.
