Cílem diplomové práce je analýza a dekonstrukce diskurzu války proti terorismu, který se konstituoval v reakci na krizi představovanou útoky z 11. září 2001. Za tímto účelem práce zkoumá, jak byla tato krize artikulována Bushovou administrativou a jaké lingvistické a diskurzivní techniky byly použity při konstrukci identit. The aim of the presented thesis is to analyze and deconstruct the war on terror discourse which emerged in response to the crisis constituted by the attacks of September 11th, 2001. To this end, the research analyzes how the crisis was articulated by the Bush administration, and what linguistic and discursive techniques were used in the construction of identities.
