Possibilities and shortcomings of cooperation of field social workers and social curators in the course of working with the target group of homeless people

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem zaměřujícím se na možnosti a nedostatky spolupráce terénních sociálních pracovníků a sociálních kurátorů při práci s cílovou skupinou lidí bez domova. Teoretická část práce má za cíl popsat základní pojmy týkající se dané problematiky, kterými jsou představení profesí terénních sociálních pracovníků a sociálních kurátorů, obecné pojetí spolupráce a vymezení jejich základních složek a ovlivňujících faktorů. Dále je zde definována cílová skupina lidí bez domova a spolupráce profesí terénních sociálních pracovníků a sociálních kurátorů v rámci této cílové skupiny. Metodologická část práce rozpracovává design výzkumného šetření, který je realizován prostřednictvím kvalitativní výzkumné strategie technikou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s šesti terénními sociálními pracovníky a šesti sociálními kurátory pracujícími s lidmi bez domova. Empirická část práce představuje interpretaci získaných dat, které v závěru přinášejí odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku, společně s doporučením pro praxi a návrhy dalších výzkumů.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the topic of possibilities and shortcomings of cooperation between field social workers and social curators in the course of working with the target group of homeless people. The objective of the theoretical part is to describe basic concepts related to the given issue, which consists of introducing the profession of field social workers and social curators, general concept of cooperation and definition of basic components together with influencing factors. This part also defines the target group of homeless people and the cooperation between field social workers and social curators within this target group. The methodological part elaborates the design of this research survey which is realized through qualitative research strategy using the technique of semi-structured interview with six field social workers and six social curators working directly with homeless people. The empirical part presents an interpretation of acquired data which brings the answer to the major research question in the end, together with recommendations for practice and proposals for further research.
