Stimulating Programs in the Kindergartens and their Exploitation

Abstract:

Bakalárská práce mapuje problematiku využívání stimulacních programu v materských školách v souvislosti se zamerením materské školy, zjištuje povedomost o stimulacních programech. Práci tvorí dve stežejní oblasti. Jedná se o teoretickou cást, kde je popsán systém soucasného predškolního vzdelávání, objasnen termín školní pripravenosti, dále jsou vysvetleny termíny stimulace, podpora rozvoje dítete, prevence problému a kompetence. Zminovány jsou duvody k odkladu školní docházky a problémy u detí, týkající se školní pripravenosti. Velká pozornost je venována stimulacním programum u nás i v zahranicí. Empirická cást se skládá z pruzkumu využívání stimulacních programu v materských školách v souvislosti se školním vzdelávacím programem, jakým zpusobem jsou tyto programy v materských školách využívány a jakou formou organizovány. Dle stanovených predpokladu bylo zjištováno, zda jsou stimulacní programy casteji využívány preventivne, jako podpora prirozeného vývoje detí než jako soucást podpory u detí s nerovnomerným, opoždeným nebo narušeným vývojem a zda jsou stimulacní programy svou komplexností spíše soucástí péce ve speciálních trídách než v bežných trídách materských škol. Rozebrána je také problematika úrovne predškolních dovedností u detí. Cílem zkoumání je overit si vlastní hypotézy a pokusit se prinést návrhy vedoucí k vetší informovanosti o stimulacních programech a možnosti jejich využití v materských školách.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis surveys the issue of using stimulating programs in the kindergartens in the context of a kindergarten, it detects the awareness of the stimulating programs. The thesis consists of two main areas. The theoretical part describes the system of current pre-school education and explains the term school preparedness, the terms explained further are: stimulation, support of child development, the prevention of potential problems and competence. There are mentioned the reasons for postponed school attendance and problems of children, relating to school preparedness. Great attention is paid to the stimulating programs in the Czech Republic and abroad. The empirical part consists of a survey of the use of stimulating programmes in kindergartens in the context of a school educational program, how are the stimulating programs being used and in what form are they organized in the kindergartens. According to set preconditions it was examined, whether the stimulating programs are more often used as prevention, such as support of the natural development of children with uneven, delayed or disturbed development and whether the stimulating programs are for their complexity rather part of care in special classes than in regular kindergartens. There is also elaborated the issue of the level of preschool skills of chidren. The aim of the survey is to test its own hypotheses, and to try to suggest means to greates awareness of the stimulating programs and the possibility of their use in kindergartens.
