Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématickou analýzou rozhovorů z časopisu Rovné příležitosti do firem. Časopis, který výdává Gender studies o.p.s. je zaměřen na rozšiřování agendy rovných příležitostí do firemního prostředí a zároveň sleduje dění na poli rovných příležitostí ve firmách a u dalších zaměstnavatelů. Teoretická část popisuje změny, které se odehrály na západě na trhu práve po druhé světové válce v souvislosti s nástupem žen do práce a vlivu těchto dějů na rodinu a pojetí genderu. Změny na trhu práce jsou popisovány především za pomocí Beckova konceptu individualizace. Pro genderovou reflexi a popis a souvislosti esencializace genderu/pohlaví je v práci použit text Šmausové. V analyzovaných textech se vedle sebe ocitá snaha o zavedení rovných příležitostí a genderově citlivějšího přístupu a esencialismus pohlaví/genderu, který této snaze brání. Ukazuje se tak, že pouhá proklamace rovných příležitostí nevede automaticky k cíli v podobě genderově spravedlivější společnosti. Rovné příležitosti jsou vtaženy do logiky efektivity firem, pomocí které jsou propagovány. Původní cíle rovného postavení žen na trhu práce a ve společnosti jsou tak redukovány na zlepšení řízení v podobě aplikace rovných příležitostí a na zlepšování konkurenčního postavení firem v boji o talentované pracovníky a pracovnice.

Abstract:

The thesis is concerned with topical analysis of interviews from a periodical called Equal Opportunities for Businesses. The periodical published by Gender studies o.p.s. focuses on propagating the agenda of equal opportunities in corporate environment, and at the same time, it follows the development in the field of equal opportunities in companies and other employers. The theoretical part describes the changes which took place in the West on the labor market after the Second World War in relation to the entry of women to work and the influence of these processes on family and approach to gender issues. The changes on the labor market are described mainly using Beck's concept of individualization. Å maus's text is used in the thesis for gender reflexion and for description and context of gender/sex essentialization. Efforts to implement equal opportunities and more gender-sensitive approach, and sex/gender essentialism which hampers these efforts appear side by side in the analyzed texts. Thus it is demonstrated that mere proclamation of equal opportunities does not automatically result in a more gender-just society. Equal opportunities are dragged into the logic of company efficiency using which they are promoted. The original intentions of equal position of women on the labor market and in society are thus reduced to management optimizations implemented by applying equal opportunities and to improvement of competitive position of companies in their struggle for talented employees.
