Recruitment strategies selected secondary schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá náborovou strategií vybrané střední školy. Jejím cílem je ověřit funkčnost strategie získávání žáků na Střední školy polygrafické v Olomouci a navrhnout případná opatření, která by vedla k udržení, případně k navýšení počtu zájemců o studium na této škole. Teoretická část vymezuje východiska pro aplikování účinné náborové strategie. Empirická část si klade za cíl analyzovat stávající náborovou strategii Střední školy polygrafické. K tomuto účelu byla provedena dvě průzkumná šetření u cílových skupin. První šetření vymezuje motivy účastníků navštívit Den otevřených dveří. Druhé šetření, realizované u žáků prvních ročníků zjišťuje, co bylo rozhodujícím podnětem pro volbu Střední školy polygrafické v Olomouci. Následnou komparací teoretických doporučení s výsledky analýz jsou navržena opatření, která by měla vést k zastavení poklesu zájmu o tuto školu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the recruitment strategy of the selected secondary school. Its aim is to verify the functionality of the acquisition strategy of The Secondary School of Polygraphy Olomouc pupils and propose any measures that would lead to maintaining or to increasing the number of applicants for studying at this school. The theoretical part defines the basis for application of effective recruitment strategies. The empirical part aims to analyze current recruitment strategy of The Secondary School of Polygraphy. To this end there were made two reconnaissance surveys of the target groups. The first survey defines the motives of the participants to attend the Open Day. The other survey, carried out by the students of the first year, figures out the decisive impetus for selecting The Secondary School of Polygraphy Olomouc. Subsequent comparison of theoretical recommendations with analysis results proposed measures that should lead to a halt in the decline of interest in this school.
