Communication function expressing the will of the speaker's speech directed to younger school aged child

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje komunikačním funkcím vyjadřujícím vůli mluvčího v řeči orientované na dítě mladšího školního věku. Výzkum bude založen na transkripci a analýze autentických zvukových nahrávek zaznamenávajících běžnou rodinnou komunikaci. Pozornost bude zaměřena na direktivní komunikační funkci, tedy na záměry, jejichž snahou je přimět dítě, aby vykonalo to, co si rodič, respektive dospělý komunikant, přeje. Ve výzkumné části bude sledována četnost výskytu a procentuální zastoupení konkrétních realizovaných direktivních komunikačních funkcích a bude popsána jejich typická indikace.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with communication functions expressing the will of the speaker in speech oriented on pupils of younger school age. The research is based on transcription and analysis of authentic sound recordings that capture ordinary family communication. The thesis mainly focuses on the directive communication function, consequently on the intentions of parents or adult speakers to get the child do what is requested. In the research part, the frequency of occurrence and percentage of concrete realizations of directive communication functions and their characteristic indication will be described.
