The role of beginning teacher in kindergarten

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o adaptaci a začleňování nově nastupující učitelky do podmínek mateřské školy. Práce je pojata z pohledu začínající učitelky, která vedla terénní výzkum za použití metody autoetnografie, rozhovorů a zúčastněného pozorování. Jedná se o autoetnotrafický popis prvních šesti měsíců v novém prostředí a v nové roli, tedy vedle vlastního procesu adaptace zahrnuje také přiblížení vybraných specifik zkoumaného prostředí, jichž si výzkumnice všímá. Po půlročním výzkumu studentka dospěla k závěrům, že pro dobrou adaptaci je vhodné mít příjemné prostředí a kolektiv, který začínajícím učitelkám pomůže a poradí v jejich začátcích. Důležité je, aby učitelky chodily do práce rády a s úsměvem a nebyly celou dobu ve stresu. Pro dobrou adaptaci je toho třeba více, například odhodlání samotné učitelky, její motivace, adekvátní ohodnocení. V těchto začátcích si studentka formuje vztah k dané práci, získává nové vzorce chování, které bude dále reprodukovat, jak ve vztahu k dětem, rodičům i ke kolegyním.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the adaptation and integration of a new teacher into the conditions of kindergarten. The work is conceived from the point of view of a beginning teacher who conducted the field research by using the method of autoetnography, interviews and participatory observation. It is an autoetnotraphatic description of the first six months in a new environment and in a new role, i.e. in addition to the actual process of adaptation, it also includes an approach to selected specifics of the researched environment, which the researcher notices. After six months of research, the student came to the conclusion that for a good adaptation it is appropriate to have a pleasant environment and a team that will help and to advise beginning teachers in their beginnings. It is important that teachers are going to its work gladly, with a smile and not constantly under pressure. There are several important requirements for a good working adaptation, f.e. the determination of the teacher herself, the inner motivation or the adequate evaluation. In these beginnings, the student forms a relationship to own future profession and acquires new patterns of behaviour, which will be applied on the relation to children, to parents as well as to colleagues.
