Implementation of new features of the simulation software DSGEgame: binary and triangular government interventions, agents' heterogenity and openess of economy

Abstract:

DSGEgame je software zaměřený na ekonomické experimenty, který byl vyvinut na Fakultě ekonomické Západočeské univerzity v Plzni. Tato práce prezentuje rozšíření DSGEgame o binární a triangulární vládní intervence, otevřenou ekonomiku, heterogenní role ekonomických subjektů a investice do lidského kapitálu. Tato rozšíření byla implementována do stávající verze v rámci této diplomové práce. Dále jsou navrženy další možnosti rozšíření. Tyto návrhy zahrnují překrývající se generace, heterogenní spotřební zboží, heterogenní kapitálové zboží a kapitálovou strukturu, podnikové ukazatele, vlastnickou strukturu firem a politický systém.

Abstract:

DSGEgame is economic experimental software. It was developed on Faculty of Economics of University of West Bohemia. This paper aims to present new function of DSGEgame: binary and triangular government interventions, openness of economy, heterogeneity of agents? roles and a human capital investments. These functions were implemented as a part of this work. This paper also represents new possibilities of extensions. These possibilities include overlapping generations, heterogeneity of consumption goods, heterogeneity of capital goods and a capital structure, company management ratios and company accounting, share markets and shareholders and a political system.
