This thesis deals with the intricate nature of the Supreme Court of the United States. It seeks to identify the multiple roles the Court plays within the country's political land-scape, whilst scrutinizing the common criticism it faces, a topic highlighted by the recent controversial decision to nullify constitutional right to abortion.
