The origin of the Czechoslovak Republic and the first years of the new state in Most area

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na vznik Československé republiky a první léta v novém státu na Mostecku. Cílem práce je zmapovat průběh vzniku Československé republiky na Mostecku a první roky na Mostecku v novém státě. Dalším cílem je popsat vzájemné vztahy českého a německého obyvatelstva ve sledované oblasti. V průběhu práce můžeme sledovat důležité okamžiky, které se odehrály během vzniku Československa, ale i běžný život města v tomto období. Dále je práce zaměřena hlavně na důležité okamžiky Mostecka v následujících letech. Diplomová práce je vypracována na základě historických pramenů, které můžeme nalézt převážně v Okresním archivu v Mostě, dále ve Státním oblastním archivu v Litoměřicích a Národním archivu v Praze. Informace získané z archivního materiálu jsou doplněny dobovým tiskem a odbornou literaturou k danému tématu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the creation of the Czechchoslovak republic and the first years of the new state in the Most area. The aim is to chart the course of the creation of the Czechoslovak republic and the first years of the Most area in the new state. Another aim is to describe mutual relations between czech and german inhabitants in the monitored area. In the thesis, we can follow the important moments which happened during the formation of the Czechoslovakia but also the daily life in Most of this period. The work is mainly focused on the important moments in the Most area during the coming years. The diploma thesis was composed on the basis of historical sources which we can find mainly in the District Archive Most, in the State Regional Archive in Litomerice and in the Nation Archive in Prague. Information gained from archive materials are complemented by the period press and reference books.
