Game Principles as a Form of Motivation in Information Education

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Herní principy jako forma motivace v informačním vzdělávání“ popisuje herní principy a používá je v hodnocení digitálních her zaměřených na informační vzdělávání. Ve své první části popisuje herní principy, jak je prezentují vybraní autoři. Dále tyto principy porovnává a vytváří z nich nástroj na hodnocení her po stránce herních principů, který je ihned otestován. V druhé části tato práce představí některé hry na podporu informační gramotnosti, rozdělí je a popíše. Na vybrané hře na podporu informační gramotnosti následně provádí srovnání s jinou hrou stejného žánru na základě herních principů. V poslední části tato práce popisuje herní tutorialy, rozdělí je a provádí srovnání vybrané hry na podporu informační gramotnosti a herního tutorialu.

Abstract:

Bachelor diploma thesis „Game principles as a form of motivation in the information education“ describes game principles and use them in evaluation of digital games that are focusing on information education. In the first part, this work describes game principles, as they are presented by selected authors. Than it compares these principles between each other and create an instrument for evaluating games by their game principles, which is tested immediately. In the second part, this thesis present some information educational games, divide and describe them. Thesis makes comparison on the selected information educational game with a game of the same genre, pursuant on game principles. In the last part, this thesis describes game tutorials, divide them and compare an information educational game with a game tutorial.
