Regional policy of the European Union and implementation in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je regionální politika Evropské unie. V teoretické části se zabývám historií a vývojem této unie, vstupy jednotlivých členů a smlouvami, které při vzniku hrály důležitou roli. Samotná regionální politikou Evropské unie, její vznik, vývoj a také cíle jsou důležitou součástí evropské ekonomické integrace. Práce je dále zaměřena na analýzu přeshraničních a nadnárodních spoluprací v letech 2014-2020, na jejich alokaci finančních zdrojů a prioritní osy. V praktické části si uvedeme příklady z praxe, jeden z Česko-Slovenské spolupráce a druhý z Česko-Polské spolupráce. V první spolupráci se podíváme na rozdíl mezi spolupráci měst a obcí na vnitrostátní úrovni a na spolupráci měst a obcí v přeshraniční spolupráci. V druhém příkladu se podíváme na projekt Od zámku Frýdlant k zámku Czocha. V závěru práce je uvedeno hodnocení těchto spoluprací, jejich klady a zápory a následní doporučení pro možné vylepšení těchto kooperací.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis is the regional policy of the European Union. In the theoretical part Im describing the history and development of this union., individual member joining and contracts, which played an important role during the Union creation. The European Union's regional policy itself, its origins, development and also its goals – an important part of European economic integration. The work is further focused on the analysis of cross-border and transnational cooperation in the years 2014-2020, on financial resources allocation of and a priority axes. In the practical part I am presenting two examples from practice, one of Czech-Slovak cooperation and the second from the Czech-Polish cooperation. In the first part, we will look at the difference between the cooperation of cities and municipalities at the national level and the cooperation of cities and municipalities in cross-border cooperation. In the second example, we will look at the project From Frýdlant Castle to Czocha Castle. At the end of this thesis is the evaluation of these cooperations, their
