Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu vyobrazení role žen v 60. letech minulého století ve Spojených státech amerických na základě biografického filmu Skrytá čísla. Práce se primárně zabývá afroamerickými ženami a jejich postavením ve společnosti na základě spojitostí s tehdejší společenskou a kulturní problematikou jako byl sexismus, rasismus, nebo rasová segregace.
