Effect of artificial intelligence at the hotel operation

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vliv umělé inteligence na hotelový provoz. Budu hodnotit její aspekty z pohledu zákazníka. Tedy proces vyhledání a výběru ubytovacího zařízení, možnost platby, porovnání cen, moderní aplikace, argumentovanou realitu, využití tzv. chytrých pokojů. Především mě ale bude zajímat sociální pohled na automatizaci a na zážitek z ubytování, či gastronomie s absencí lidského kontaktu. Dále budu pozornost věnovat pozornost umělé inteligenci a moderním zařízením z pohledu hotelového managementu. Zaměřím se tedy na možnosti, díky kterým lze ubytovací zařízení lépe propagovat, na on-line reklamní kampaně, chytré zařízení pokojů a společenských prostor, revenue management a určování cen dle algoritmů a ostatních aspektů a automatizovanou možnost rezervace. Zároveň bych část práce rád věnoval i zaměstnancům hotelového a restauračního provozu, kteří mají z progresivního nástupu umělé inteligence obavy a domnívají se, že by mohla nastat doba, kdy lidský faktor nebude k dispozici.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the influence of artificial intelligence on hotel operation. I will evaluate its aspects from the customer's point of view. Thus, the process of finding and selecting accommodation facilities, the possibility of payment, price comparison, modern applications, augmented reality, smart rooms. Above all, I will be interested in the social view of automation and the experience of accommodation or gastronomy with the absence of human contact. Furthermore, I will pay attention to artificial intelligence and modern facilities from the perspective of hotel management. So I will focus on the possibilities that make it possible to promote the accommodation better, on-line advertising campaigns, smart room and social facilities, revenue management and pricing according to algorithms and other aspects, and automated booking options. At the same time, I would like to devote some of my work to the hotel and restaurant staff, who are concerned about the progressive advent of artificial intelligence and believe that there may be a time when the human factor will not be available.
