Factors affecting the smooth transition of twins from kindergarden to primary school

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je odhalit faktory, které působí na plynulý přechod dvojčat z mateřské školy do základní. V rámci teoretické části shrnujeme problematiku dvojčat, charakteristiku dítěte předškolního a mladšího školního věku a specifika socializace dvojčat. Díváme se na dosavadní zjištění vedená v souvislosti s přechodem a odkrýváme specifika rolí jednotlivých aktérů přechodu. Součástí empirické části práce je případová studie jednovaječných a dvojvaječných dvojčat přecházejících do základní školy. Faktory jsou zkoumány z pohledu samotných dvojčat, a rovněž jejich rodičů a učitelů.

Abstract:

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to reveal the factors that affect the smooth transition of twins from kindergarten to primary school. In the theoretical part we summarize the issue of twins, the characteristics of the child of preschool and early school age and the specifics of socialization of twins. We look at the findings made so far in connection with the transition and reveal the specifics of the roles of individual actors in the transition. Part of the empirical part of the work is a case study of identical and double-egg twins going to primary school. The factors are examined from the perspective of the twins themselves, as well as their parents and teachers.
