Variance analysis used as controlling and management tool in a specific company

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza odchylek zisku v podniku, který dosud nevyužíval žádné metody controllingu či jiných nástrojů využívaných pro potřeby řízení. Samotné analýze odchylek předchází členění nákladů podle principů manažerského účetnictví a následné stanovení standardů na předem určené období. Na základě provedené analýzy odchylek byla navržena doporučení, která by společnost v budoucnu mohla využít k efektivnímu řízení. V teoretické části práce jsou shrnuta témata týkající se členění nákladů a metoda standardních nákladů. Tyto znalosti jsou následně aplikovány na účetní data a interní informace poskytnuté analyzovanou společností.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to apply variance analysis in a company that has not used any controlling methods or other tools used for management purposes. The variance analysis is preceded by the breakdown of costs according to the principles of management accounting and the subsequent determination of standards for a predetermined period. Based on the variance analysis performed, recommendations were proposed that the company could use in the future for effective management. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes topics related to cost breakdown and standard cost method. This knowledge is then applied to accounting data and internal information provided by the analysed company.
