Specifics of communication with a child with pervasive developmental disorder in prehospital emergency care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vysvětlení pojmu pervazivní vývojová porucha, její kategorizace, projevy, diagnostiku a terapii. V práci je definováno fungování zdravotnické záchranné služby včetně priorit výjezdů. Závěrem teoretické části jsou popsána specifika komunikace s dětským pacientem s pervazivní vývojovou poruchou. Cílem práce je zmapovat informovanost záchranářů Zdravotnické záchranné služby Libereckého kraje o specificích komunikace s dětskými pacienty s pervazivní vývojovou poruchou dle soudobých metodických doporučení Ministerstva zdravotnictví. Dílčími cíli jsou zjištění, zda tuto metodu cílová skupina používá ke komunikaci s pacienty a také, jak tuto metodu záchranáři hodnotí.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is focused on explaining the concept of pervasive developmental disorder, its categorization, manifestations, diagnosis and therapy. The work defines the functioning of the medical emergency service, including the priorities of trips. At the end of the theoretical part, the specifics of communication with a child patient with a pervasive developmental disorder are described. The aim of the work is to map the awareness of the rescuers of the Liberec Region Medical Rescue Service about the specifics of communication with child patients with pervasive developmental disorder according to the current methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Health. The sub-goals are to find out whether this method is used by the target group to communicate with patients and also how the paramedics evaluate this method.
