The influence of security services involved in sport event on its media image

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na mediální obraz velkých sportovních akcí, konkrétně XXII. Zimních olympijských her v Soči. Hlavní cílem této práce je návrh opatření vedoucích ke zlepšení potenciálního mediálního obrazu budoucích zimních olympijských her. Nejprve byl analyzován sport jakožto společenský fenomén, a to především na příkladu velkých společenských olympijských her. Dále magisterská práce byla zaměřena na média a mediální obraz zimních olympijských her, i hlavní bezpečnostní subjekty participující na hrách. Praktická část byla konkrétně cílena na XXII. Zimní olympijské hry v Soči a jejich celkové pozadí, včetně analýzy případných problémů. Dále byla provedena analýza činnosti bezpečnostních subjektů, které zajišťovaly hladký chod daných zimních olympijských her. Po analýze výsledného mediálního obrazu her se práce byla detailně věnovana vlivu konkrétních bezpečnostních subjektů na daný mediální obraz.

Abstract:

The work is focused on the media image of big sport events, namely XXII. Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. The main objective of this work is to design measures to improve the potential of the media image of future Olympic Winter Games. Firstly sport was analyzed as a social phenomenon, especially the example of great social Olympic Games. Furthermore, the thesis was focused on the media and media image of the Winter Olympic Games, as well as the main security services of the Games. The practical part was specifically targeted at the XXII. Winter Olympics in Sochi and the overall background including an analysis of possible problems. Furthermore, was made an analysis of the activities of security services, which ensure the smooth running of the Olympic Winter Games. After analyzing the final media image of the Games work in detail has been paid to the effect of specific security subjects in the media image.
