Abstract:

Vybrané téma bakalářské práce se zabývá výskytem poruch příjmu potravy a informovaností o dané problematice u žáků vybrané střední školy. Cílem práce bylo zjistit u kolika žáků dané střední školy se vyskytuje porucha příjmu potravy a jaká je u těchto žáků informovanost v oblasti poruch PP. Teoretická část poskytuje komplexní pohled na problematiku poruch příjmu potravy. Nejprve se zabývá historií a charakteristikou poruch PP, která zahrnuje nejen fyzické projevy, ale také psychologické a sociální faktory, které mohou ovlivňovat jejich vývoj a průběh. Dále se zaměřuje na identifikaci rizikových faktorů a představuje možnosti terapie a prevence. Praktická část je založena na vyhodnocení standardizovaného dotazníku testu stravovacích postojů EAT-26, který sloužil k získání informací o výskytu poruch příjmu potravy mezi žáky střední školy a dále vyhodnocení znalostí získaných z odpovědí týkajících se informovanosti těchto žáků o poruchách PP. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 105 respondentů z toho bylo 68 žen (64,8 %) a 37 mužů (35,2 %). Nejvíce na dotazník odpovídali žáci ve věkové skupině 15-18 let. Z celkového vyhodnocení testu stravovacích postojů EAT-26, který se skládal z první části týkající se držení diet, bulimie, nadměrné pozornosti věnované jídlu, kontroly nad příjmem potravy a druhé části zaměřené na chování v oblasti poruch příjmu potravy bylo zjištěno, že 15 žáků (14 %) z toho 12 dívek (80 %) a 3 chlapci (20 %) vykazovali známky rizikového chování v oblasti poruch PP. Tito žáci by měli zvážit vyhledání odborného pracovníka v oblasti duševního zdraví, aby získali podporu a péči pro případné řešení svých obtíží. Z výsledků jednotlivých otázek zaměřené na informovanost poruch PP se můžeme dozvědět, že velká většina žáků tohoto gymnázia má dostatečné znalosti v problematice poruch PP. To může být významným přínosem pro prevenci v oblasti poruch PP, neboť informovaní jedinci mají lepší předpoklady pro rozpoznání a řešení rizikových situací.

Abstract:

The selected topic of the bachelor thesis deals with the occurrence of eating disorders and the awareness of this issue among students of selected secondary school. The aim of the thesis was to determine how many students of the particular secondary school have an eating disorder and what is the level of awareness among these students regarding eating disorders. The theoretical part provides a comprehensive overview of eating disorders. Firstly, it addresses the history and characteristics of eating disorders, encompassing not only their physical manifestations but also the psychological and social factors that can influence their development and course. It then focuses on identifying risk factors and presents options for therapy and prevention. The practical part is based on the evaluation of the standardized questionnaire of the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26), which served to obtain information about the occurrence of eating disorders among high school students, as well as the assessment of the knowledge gained from the responses regarding the awareness of these students about eating disorders. The research sample consisted of 105 respondents, of whom 68 were female (65 %) and 37 were male (35 %). Most respondents answered the questionnaire in the age group of 15-18 years. From the overall evaluation of the EAT-26 questionnaire, which consisted of the first part concerning dieting, bulimia, excessive attention to food, control over food intake, and the second part focused on behavior related to eating disorders, it was found that 15 students (14 %), including 12 girls (80 %) and 3 boys (20 %), exhibited signs of risky behavior in the area of eating disorders. These students should consider seeking assistance from a mental health professional to receive support and care for addressing their difficulties. The results of individual questions regarding awareness of eating disorders indicate that the majority of students at this gymnasium have sufficient knowledge about eating disorders. This can be a significant contribution to prevention in the field of eating disorders, as informed individuals are better equipped to recognize and address risky situations.
