Evaluation of the Conditions for Successful Aging of Seniors in Zlín

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na seniorskou etapu lidského života, lidské potřeby, koncept úspěšného stárnutí a pedagogickou evaluaci. Cílem práce je poukázat na důležitost naplnění potřeb úspěšného stárnutí, evaluovat naplnění podmínek úspěšného stárnutí u seniorů žijících ve městě Zlíně, a poukázat na oblast, ve které je třeba nabídnout podporu ke kvalitnímu prožití této etapy lidského života. Práce zjišťuje ve zkoumaných oblastech seberealizace, seberozvoje a užitečnosti míru naplnění potřeb jen mírně pod minimální přijatelnou hranicí.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the senior stage of life, human needs, the concept of successful aging, and pedagogical evaluation. The aim of the thesis is to highlight the importance of meeting the needs of successful aging. We will evaluate whether the needs of seniors living in Zlín are met, and we will point out specific areas which should offer more support in order to make going through this stage of human life better. The research areas are self-realization, self-development and usefulness; the extent to which needs are met seem to be only slightly under the minimal acceptability limit in all research areas.
