Cooperation of non-governmental organization in the inclusive education of Roma students in Krnov

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na spolupráci NNO při inkluzivním vzdělávání těch Romských žáků, kteří k uskutečnění svých vzdělávacích možností potřebují poskytnutí podpůrných opatření. V první kapitole teoretické části práce jsou uvedeny základní informace o Romech, romské rodině a dítěti, životních podmínkách Romů a všeobecném přístupu Romů ke vzdělávání. Druhá kapitola definuje pojem inkluzivní vzdělávání, zabývá se aktuální legislativou a současnou filozofií vztahující se inkluzivnímu vzdělávání. Vymezuje žáka se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a zabývá se vzděláváním romských žáků před zavedením inkluzivního vzdělávání až po současnost. Třetí kapitola teoretické části se zabývá historií a strukturou neziskového sektoru v ČR, zdrojem financování NNO a následně předkládá výčet několika nadací a organizací, které jsou mimo jiné zaměřeny na podporu vzdělávání romských žáků. V praktické části práce je popsán druh podpory - doučování, kterou konkrétní NNO poskytuje žákům v doučovacím klubu ve vyloučené lokalitě. Je zde také popsán klíčový přístup při jednání s rodiči a pedagogy romských žáků.

Abstract:

The bachelors thesis is focused on cooperation of NGOs in inclusive education of those Roma students who need to be provided with support measures in order to realize their educational opportunities. The first chapter of the theoretical part contains basic information about Roma, Roma family and child, Roma living conditions and general Roma approach to education. The second chapter defines the concept of inclusive education, deals with current legislation and current philosophy related to inclusive education. It defines a student with special educational needs and deals with the education of Roma students before introducing inclusive education to the present. The third chapter of the theoretical part deals with the history and structure of the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic, the source of funding for NGOs and then presents a list of several foundations and organizations, which are aimed, among other things, at supporting the education of Roma students. In the practical part of the thesis there is described a kind of support, which is provided in a tutoring club by a specific NGO for students in an excluded area. A key approach in dealing with parents and teachers of Roma students is also described there. The practical part describes the realization of the research carried out by the author of the work using qualitative method. Results of this research are then presented in the final part of the thesis.
