Analysis of weapons and ammunition used by the armed security forces of the Czech Republic.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou zbraní a munice v Armádě České republiky. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy jako je zbraň, munice a střelivo. Dále jsou popsány typy zavedených pěchotních zbraní a munice patřících do základní výbavy jednotek AČR, mezi něž řadíme pistole, útočné pušky, samopaly, granátomety určené k podvěsu k útočné pušce, kulomety, pušky pro přesnou střelbu, protitankové zbraně, granáty a munici do všech uvedených zbraní. Analytická část je zaměřena na rozbor útočných pušek ve standardní výzbroji AČR na základě definovaných kritérií, mezi něž patří unifikace ráže se standardy NATO, možnost použití moderních doplňků, snadná manipulace se zbraní, váha zbraně a účinnost používané munice. Na základě provedené analýzy jsou útočné pušky a munice zhodnoceny a je nastíněn možný směr budoucího vývoje v této oblasti.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the analysis of weapons and ammunition in the Army of the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, basic terms such as weapon, ammunition and munitions are defined. Furthermore, the types of established infantry weapons and ammunition belonging to the basic equipment of the units of the Czech Armed Forces are described, including pistols, assault rifles, submachine guns, grenade launchers designed to be used as a suspension for assault rifles, machine guns, precision rifles, anti-tank weapons, grenades and ammunition for all of these weapons. The analytical part focuses on the analysis of assault rifles in the standard armament of the Czech Armed Forces on the basis of defined criteria, including calibre unification with NATO standards, the possibility of using modern accessories, ease of handling, weight of the weapon and effectiveness of the ammunition used. On the basis of the analysis carried out, assault rifles and ammunition are evaluated and a possible direction for future development in this area is outlined.
