Social work in the context of meeting the needs of an ageing population in the home of st. Hedvika

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je naplňování potřeb stárnoucí populace konkrétně pak potřeby seniorů v domově pro seniory. Cílem celé bakalářské práce je popsat, co je to sociální práce, a dále se zaměřit na potřeby seniorů v konkrétní pobytové službě. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na sociální práci obecně, dále pak na sociální práci se seniory. Další velmi důležitá je oblast stáří, stárnutí a také v neposlední řadě poslední část zaměřená na potřeby seniorů. Empirická neboli aplikační část je věnována návrhu kvantitativního výzkumu, který by měl mít za úkol zjistit a popsat potřeby klientů dané pobytové služby a dále zjistit, jak se tyto potřeby od sebe vzájemně odlišují mezi muži a ženami a jakým způsobem jsou naplňovány či nikoli.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is meeting the needs od the aging population, specifically the needs od seniors in a home from the eldrely. The aim od the whole bachelor thesis is to describe what social work is, and to focus on the needs of seniors in a residental service. The theorestical part focuses on social work in general, then on social work with the elderly. Another very important areas are age, agging and, last but not least, the last part focused on the needs of seniors. The empirical or application part is devoted to the design of quantitative research, which should aim to identify and describe the needs od clients od the residential service and to find out hou these needs differ from each other between men and women and how they are met or not.
