Aid for Refugees as a part of the Development Cooperation of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Stěţejním tématem této předloţené bakalářské práce je analýza proměny, respektive vývoje, azylové politiky a zahraniční rozvojová spolupráce v České republice. První kapitola je věnována zahraniční rozvojové spolupráci České republiky (ZRS ČR), kde je zmíněn její hlavní aktér, dále dělení ZRS a postupný vývoj před rokem 1989 a v následujících letech. Další kapitoly se zabývají obecnými definicemi uprchlíka, kde jsou pro zajímavost zmíněny i definice z hlediska různých částí světa, a azylanta spolu s charakteristikou azylového řízení. Dále je popsán vývoj azylové politiky v letech 1990-2011 a hlavní nedostatky této politiky. V následující části je v krátkosti zachycen vývoj a aktuální situace počtu ţadatelů o azyl na území České republiky. Poslední kapitola se zabývá hlavní organizaci pro pomoc uprchlíkům (UNHCR) a jsou zde také v krátkosti představeny další organizace, které se uprchlíkům snaţí pomoci co nejrychleji adaptovat.

Abstract:

The principal theme of this presented bachelor´s work is the analysis of transformation, or if you like of development, asylum policy and development cooperation in the Czech Republic. The first chapter deals with the development cooperation of the Czech Republic (ZRS ČR) where the main partaker is mentioned, further division of ZRS and gradual development before the year 1989 and in the following years. Following chapters deal with the general definitions of a refugee, where just for interest are mentioned also definitions from viewpoint of different parts of the world, and the definitions of an asylum seeker, together with the features of asylum administration. Further is described development of asylum policy in the years 1990 - 2011 and the main shortages of this policy. In the next part there is in short depicted development and actual situations of the applicants for asylum on the territory of the Czech Republic. The last chapter deals with the main organization for support of refugees (UNHCR) and there are also in brief introduced another organizations whose aim is to help the refugees to adapt as quickly as possible.
