Standard of Living

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o životní úrovni v České republice. Definuje životní úroveň a zaměřuje se na hlavní ukazatele, kterými je životní úroveň určována -- HDP, nezaměstnanost, míra ohrožení chudobou a jejich vývoj v letech 2007 -- 2011. Část práce je věnována Statistice rodinných účtů, kterými se určuje životní úroveň v České republice. Cílem práce je zjistit mezigenerační rozdíly v trávení volného času a rozdíly ve výdajích na volnočasové aktivity. Zkoumanými generacemi jsou současní studenti vysokých škol ve věku 19 -- 26 let a generace ve věku 38 -- 50 let.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the standard of living in the Czech Republic. It defines the standard of living and focuses on key indicators which determinate this living standard - GDP, unemployment, level of poverty and their development in the years 2007 -- 2011. Part of the thesis is dedicated to the Household budget survey which determinates the standard of living in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to reveal the generational differences in spending their leisure time and the consequental expenditures on various leisure activities. The focused generations are the present university students at the age of 19 -- 26 and the generation at the age of 38 -- 50.
