The aim of this thesis is to analyse and categorise the linguistic processes involved in subtitle production, in particular the syntactic and stylistic interventions that occur during subtitle production and the reasons for possible deviations from the generally valid subtitle production principles. Cílem této práce je analyzovat a kategorizovat lingvistické procesy při tvorbě titulků, zejména pak syntaktické a stylistické zásahy, ke kterým při této tvorbě dochází a důvody možného odchýlení od obecně platných zásad při tvorbě titulků.
