Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem těžby vápence ve Štramberku na okolní krajinu. První část práce zahrnuje úvod a všeobecnou charakteristiku území města Štramberka. Druhá část se zabývá historií těžby vápence a vlivem těžby na georeliéf, flóru, faunu, životní prostředí a krajinný ráz. Jsou zde nastíněny i plány do budoucna a návrhy sanace a rekultivace lomu. The bachelor thesis deals with impact of the limestone quarry in Štramberk into surrounding landscape. The first part of thesis includes introduction and general characteristic of urban area of Štramberk. The second part of thesis deals with history of the limestone quarry and impact of the limestone quarry into relief, flora, fauna, environment and lanscape character.
