Mobbing as a negative phenomenon in the environment of elementary schools

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou šikany na pracovišti - mobbingu v prostředí základních škol v České republice. Teoretická část práce se zabývá zejména mobbingem, ale také jinými formami šikany na pracovišti, které se v prostředí základních škol vyskytují. Obsahuje poznatky z české i zahraniční odborné literatury zabývající se tematikou mobbingu, šikany, školního prostředí, mezilidských vztahů a lidské povahy. Uvádí nejrůznější důvody vzniku a následně popisuje průběh mobbingu od vzniku problému, přes možná vyústění až po jeho následky. Zabývá se rovněž výzkumem rozšíření tohoto negativního fenoménu v České republice i v zahraničí. Výzkumná část práce je koncipována jako rozbor dat získaných při výzkumu obětí tohoto jevu. Cílem diplomové práce je popsat skutečný projev mobbingu, zjistit jeho příčiny a možná řešení za pomoci výpovědí pedagogů, kteří působí nebo působili na 1. stupni základních škol a mají osobní zkušenost s mobbingem. Pro sběr těchto dat je užito kvalitativní metody výzkumu. Výsledky výzkumu jsou následně analyzovány, porovnány s teoretickými poznatky a zhodnoceny v závěru práce.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of bullying in the workplace - mobbing in the environment of elementary schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals mainly with mobbing, but also with other forms of bullying in the workplace that occur in the environment of elementary schools. It contains knowledge from Czech and foreign literature dealing with the topic of mobbing, bullying, school environment, interpersonal relationships and human nature. It presents various reasons for the occurrence and then describes the course of mobbing from the origin of the problem, describes its course, its possible outcome and its consequences, it also deals with research into the occurrence of this negative phenomenon in the Czech Republic and abroad. The research part of the thesis is conceived as an analysis of the data obtained during the research of victims of this phenomenon. The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the real manifestation of mobbing, to find out its causes and possible solutions, using the testimonies of teachers who have primary school experience and have a personal experience of mobbing, using qualitative methods of research for the collection of these data. The research results are then analyzed, compared with theoretical knowledge and evaluated at the end of the thesis.
