Negative Influence of Imprisonment

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit a popsat projevy prizonizace, neboť tyto projevy do značné míry ovlivňují úspěšnost resocializace odsouzených. Předmětem zkoumání je, zda nařízená délka výkonu trestu odnětí svobody ovlivňuje negativně počet projevů prizonizace odsouzených. Dále si autor klade otázku, zda odsouzený, který má v programu zacházení pracovní aktivity, je schopný více akceptovat běžné normy a upustit od nežádoucího chování, jako jsou různé formy agrese a porušování přesně stanovených pravidel. Odsouzený, který není schopen dodržovat základní pravidla ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody, se jen stěží může úspěšně začlenit do společnosti. Práce je dělena na dvě části a to na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou formulována teoretická východiska stanovené problematiky doplněná o příklady z praxe. V této části definuje autor pojem prizonizace, negativní jevy ve vězení a vhodné možnosti k minimalizaci prizonizace. Praktická část je směřována na zodpovězení otázek, které jsou formulované v předpokladech a jsou v souladu s teoretickými východisky této práce. Šetření mělo za cíl tyto předpoklady potvrdit nebo vyvrátit.

Abstract:

The main objective of this work is to identify and describe the symptoms of prisonisation as it largely affects the success of rehabilitation of prisoners. The subject of investigation is whether the length of imprisonment negatively affects the number of sings of prisonisation of convicted. Furthermore the author wonders whether the convict who has in sentense planning work activities is more able to accept common standards and refrain from undesirable behaviours such as various forms of aggression and violation of specified rules. The prisoner who is unable to follow basic rules in prison has difficulties successfully integrate back into society. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part engages in theoretical problems and is accompanied by examples from practice. In this section the author defines the term prisonisation, its negative influence in jail and appropriate actions how to minimize this negative influence. The practical part is focused on answering assumptions and gathers from the theoretical basis of this work. The investigation aimes to decide whether these assumptions are true or false.
