Abstract:

Thesis Insurance risk management and analysis describes the risk management issues, which insurance when carrying out their activities. In the introduction defines the concept of risk, risk management approach to risk management from a theoretical point of view. Practical approaches the selected insurance companies and financial groups, below is devoted to the analysis of risk management occurring during the operation of the entity. It also describes the importance of reinsurance for insurance companies. Thesis is mainly focused on the changes caused by the presence of the economic crisis in 2008, what measures were necessary for the continued functioning of insurance companies and as a society manage the risks in the period before the crisis, when the economy was in a big boom.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca Analýza a riadenie poistného rizika popisuje problematiku riadenia rizík, ktorým sú poisťovne vystavené počas vykonávania svojej činnosti. V úvode práce je definovaný pojem riziko, postup risk managementu pri riadení rizík z teoretického hľadiska. Praktická časť priblíži zvolené poisťovne a ich finančné skupiny, ďalej je venovaná analýze riadenia rizík vyskytujúcich sa počas fungovania subjektu. Tiež popisuje význam zaistenia pre poisťovne. Práca je zameraná hlavne na zmeny spôsobené výskytom ekonomickej krízy v roku 2008, aké opatrenia bolo potrebné vykonať pre ďalšie fungovanie poisťovní a ako spoločnosť riadila riziká v dobe pred krízou, kedy ekonomika bola vo veľkom rozmachu.
