Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou trestu obecně prospěšných prací a jeho úpravou v českém právním řádu. Cílem práce je poskytnout komplexní pohled na celé téma z hlediska historického vývoje obecně prospěšných prací, současné právní úpravy a řešení praktických otázek.
