Faith in God and family with a child with a concurrent disability

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá způsobem, jakým se věřící rodiny vyrovnávají s narozením dítěte s kombinovaným postižením. Část teoretická seznamuje s termíny rodina, kombinované postižení a víra. Výzkum je věnován kvalitativnímu výzkumu. Cílem bylo zjistit, zda si respondenti myslí, že jim víra jako taková pomohla se vyrovnat se skutečností narozením dítěte s kombinovaným postižením. Pro tento výzkum bylo vybráno šest respondentů, kteří vychovávají dítě s kombinovaným postižením. Data byla získána kvalitativní metodou rozhovoru, který se skládal ze tří oblastí obsahující otevřené otázky. Jako doplňující metoda byla zvolena metoda pozorování. Pro zjištění výsledků byla použita metoda vytváření trsů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the way in which religious families cope with the birth of a child with a concurrent disability. The theoretical part introduces the terms family, concurrent disability and faith. The research is devoted to qualitative research. The aim was to find out whether respondents think that faith as such helped them to cope with the reality of the birth of a child with a concurrent disability. For this research, six respondents were selected who are raising a child with a concurrent disability. The data were obtained using a qualitative method of an interview that consisted of three areas containing open-ended questions. The observation method was chosen as a complementary method. To determine the results, the method of creating clusters was used.
